Job Description : The Lead - Risk & Policy - Cross Sell & Data Capabilities will play a critical role in developing risk frameworks and policies for cross-sell initiatives while enhancing data capabilities. This position in the financial services industry requires a strong understanding of retail banking and loans, with a focus on innovation and compliance.

Description:
- Lead Risk & Policy for all Horizontal Cross-Sell businesses including PL, TW, Auto, BL, Credit Line
- Lead Horizontal Risk Data strategies and new capabilities - Strengthen, Deepen existing data usages; Explore, Consume, Evolve new data sources and use cases
- Maintain credit quality of all Cross- sell portfolios. Ensuring Credit Loss and credit cost is within projected levels on all such portfolios.
- Design/develop/review policies, new programs, processes, products from risk management perspective, in line with best industry practice.
- Strengthen Pre-qualification and Preapproval filters and policies
- Lead, innovate and release amendments in the policies and programs across all products with an optimal mix of risk philosophy and use of Data Science - risk score cards, statistical models to help business have competitive edge in the market and mitigate Risk for assigned portfolios.
- Rule engine based automated models and approval process to improve customer on-boarding experience, Underwriting checks, Pre-approval frameworks
- Drive and monitor the loans portfolio on daily/weekly/monthly basis to maintain risk metrics at desired levels by continuously analysing, identifying, and eliminating the high- risk segment from portfolio. Recommend corrective actions for maintaining a healthy portfolio and lower loss rates.
- Define various metrics & tracking's for assessment of the through the door quality, approvals and performance
- Lead execution, tracking & change management ranging from new partner enrolment, formulating policies and processes, define success metrics and loss forecasting.
- Anticipate impact on business when recommending changes to balance risk/reward
- Drive deep data analytics for decision making on risk & opportunities
- Ensure adherence to RBI norms, internal audit findings, and compliance standards.
- Help prepare risk tracking's for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Lead internal and external audits, hind sighting related to policies, processes & underwriting
- Collaborate with credit underwriting teams, collections & business stakeholders for problem solving
- Work with internal analytics, products teams to identify opportunities & sharpen risk outcome & business growth
- Work closely with tech, fraud, collections, compliance teams to drive improvements and contain risk/fraud.
- Drive deep analytics & monitoring of the portfolio & take proactive measures to improve portfolio health & enable business growth.
- Collaborate within Risk Verticals to enhance data capabilities and use cases with new data sources
- Experience of managing portfolio and policies of Unsecured Personal Loan/Consumer Loans/Credit Card/Cross Sell Programs in Banks/NBFC/Fintech
- Strong analytical skills coupled with good understanding of Credit risk management, scorecards.
