Lead Research Analyst - Institutional Equity Research - Sell Side

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: MBA (Finance) / CA

Experience : 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.

- Conduct fundamental analysis of companies within the assigned sector coverage.

- Prepare research reports, earnings updates, thematic reports, and investment recommendations.

- Track industry developments, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics.

- Interact with company management teams, industry experts, and institutional investors.

- Present investment ideas and sector insights to internal and external stakeholders.

- Support sales and institutional teams with timely research inputs.

- Develop differentiated views on stocks and sectors to drive investment decisions.

Preferred Sector Coverage Experience:

Candidates with research experience in any of the following sectors:

- Information Technology (IT Services, Software, Digital)

- Telecom

- BFSI (Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, Fintech)

- Cement

- Metals & Mining

Desired Candidate Profile

- MBA (Finance) or CA from a reputed institution.

- 5+ years of equity research, investment research, or institutional research experience.

- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.

- Excellent understanding of financial statements and business analysis.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience interacting with institutional investors and company management teams is preferred.

- Ability to independently initiate and maintain sector coverage.
