About the Role:
The Lead - Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate submission of RBI reports and returns, managing compliance with regulatory guidelines, handling audits, and driving automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory returns and reports to RBI.
- Manage and oversee periodic financial submissions including quarterly financial numbers to RBI.
- Handle and coordinate audits including RBI, internal, concurrent, and statutory audits.
- Assess and implement the impact of new RBI circulars and regulatory updates.
- Lead automation initiatives for RBI returns, including testing parallel submissions through the CIMS portal.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and internal control frameworks in reporting processes.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT) for data collation and validation.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all regulatory submissions.
- Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in regulatory reporting.
Skillsets Required:
- Strong knowledge of RBI guidelines, circulars, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting tools and portals (CIMS, XBRL, etc.).
- Solid understanding of financial accounting, risk, and compliance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in automation tools, Excel, and data validation techniques.
- Ability to manage audits, queries, and inspections with confidence.
