Position Title: Lead-Public Relations and Corp Communications
Location: Mumbai, India
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Nature of Work: Monday to Friday, Work-from-office
Job Purpose:
We are looking to hire a self-driven PR personnel to drive our public relations objectives. The person should value the breadth of responsibility a start-up offers and enjoy leveraging all media channels to enhance the visibility of the organisation.
A digital savvy individual with 12+ years of PR & communications experience with dynamic, high-profile companies, media organizations/ agencies.
Job Responsibility:
- Developing and executing the media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
- Lead the PR efforts for the organization in line with strategic vision.
- Maximize and enhance brand visibility on various channels (both print and digital)
- Act as the business spokesperson and lead point person in all media interactions
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and other agencies.
- Manage the assigned agency on a day-to- day basis for effective agency.
- Own media monitoring and related analysis to track and report performance of media activities
- Be adept at trendspotting and have a pulse on contemporary trends
- Be good at storytelling and narrative building in line with org objectives.
- Conduct & organize press conferences and other media interaction.
- Assist the senior management in content generation and media interactions.
- Craft and pitch brand stories to promote company visibility and engagement.
- Create content for press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations.
- Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a periodic basis.
- Develop and implement communications strategy.
- Oversee external & internal communication.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive PR and corporate communications experience with dynamic, high-profile companies or agencies.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end media relations and agency partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with crisis and reputation management, including development of communication playbooks.

- Exceptional editorial proficiency (writing, editing, proofing).
- Deep understanding of media monitoring tools and CMS platforms.
- Strong proficiency in media analytics and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of digital PR tactics, including influencer outreach and social listening.
