Program Lead Analytics (Retail / CPG)
Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Gurgaon/Pune
Experience: 9 to 13 years
Role Overview
This role is for a senior analytics leader who will drive AI and advanced analytics programs for Retail / CPG clients. The person will lead multiple teams, work closely with senior stakeholders, and ensure analytics solutions deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver advanced analytics and AI projects for Retail / CPG clients
- Manage multiple project teams including analysts, data scientists, BI experts, and data/ML engineers
- Engage closely with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify high-impact analytics opportunities
- Translate business problems into clear analytics problem statements
- Design and drive end-to-end analytics solutions with a product mindset
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Data Science, Engineering, Cloud, and MLOps
- Own project execution, governance, and stakeholder communication
- Measure and articulate the business and financial impact of analytics solutions
- Mentor and develop team members and contribute to building repeatable analytics frameworks
Required Experience & Skills
- 9 to 13 years of total experience, with 5 to 10 years in analytics consulting, advanced analytics, BI, or data engineering
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
Strong domain experience in Retail / CPG, especially:
- Pricing Analytics
- Promotions Analytics
- Revenue Growth Management:
- Ability to convert ambiguous business problems into structured analytics solutions
- Experience working with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
- Good understanding of DS / ML / AI techniques and their business application
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
Hands-on experience with:
- SQL
- Python and/or R
- Tableau / Power BI
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
