Job Description:

To manage Inventory effectively in order to utilize stock and control it. The Management of the Planning & Scheduling Team along with setting clear expectations, will support them and encourage to contribute to the company metrics and key performance indicators. This position coordinates the activities of order processing and scheduling for the Dubai facility.

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of manufacturing facility to achieve the most effective and efficient use of manpower, equipment and materials for production consistent with customer demand

Entry Qualifications:

- Proficiency with Microsoft applications - Outlook, Excel, Word;

- Good communication skills (written and oral - English);

- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure;

- Good organizational skills.

- Good working experience and knowledge of different types of machinery such as CNC, NC and conventional Lathes / Milling Machines as well as boring machines, grinders, presses, etc. required

- Must hold an India's driver's license and have personal automobile transportation to and from work

- Understanding of JIT and Quality planning required

- Ability to read blueprints and other manufacturing drawings / specifications

Scope of Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- Evaluate and coordinate the performance of the Planning & Scheduling Team,

- Continuously scheduling the workflow in the shop, efficiently

- Issuing lead times in a timely manner

- Ensuring flow through of work on the shop floor

- On Time Delivery

- Inventory control and accuracy

- Training and development of the team

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Management of the Planning & Scheduling Team

- Ensuring that the machine shop resources are utilized effectively

- Liaise with Operations manager on resources needed and feedback

- Liaise with sales department/customers to ensure timely deliveries and shortest cycle time

- Planning/Scheduling orders in the workshop

- Prepare line ups and IP's documents for the shop floor
