Lead - Procurement - EPC Projects - Oil & Gas

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lead - Procurement to support procurement and proposal activities for offshore, Oil & Gas, and marine engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage technical procurement activities, including identifying suitable suppliers, issuing RFQs, and coordinating with vendors.

- Review technical specifications, drawings, datasheets, and material requirements to understand procurement needs.

- Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.

- Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve technical queries and ensure the required specifications are met.

- Support proposal and estimation activities by providing pricing, material, and technical procurement inputs.

- Develop and maintain the vendor network, including sourcing new suppliers and maintaining vendor records.

- Review and coordinate vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and support timely submission.

- Maintain effective coordination across engineering, procurement, vendors, and proposal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Requirements:

- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in technical procurement, preferably in Offshore, Marine, EPC, Oil & Gas, or related engineering projects.

- Engineering degree or diploma with relevant industry experience.

- Strong understanding of technical procurement, RFQ management, quotation evaluation, and vendor selection.

- Experience in technical and commercial comparison of vendor quotations.

- Good vendor development, supplier sourcing, and negotiation skills.

- Strong coordination and communication skills with engineering, vendors, and proposal teams.

- Good proficiency in MS Excel and procurement-related tracking and documentation.
