6. New Vendor Development & Ecosystem Building:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and alternates
- Build a multi-vendor, de-risked sourcing ecosystem
- Work closely with QA and Regulatory on audits, approvals, and certifications
- KRA: Vendor depth, supply continuity, compliance scores
7. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure procurement decisions meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards
- Anticipate risks related to supply disruption, geopolitical shifts, or climate impact
- Build contingency plans and sourcing backups

8. Systems, Processes & Governance:
- Strengthen procurement systems, ERP integration, and approval workflows
- Build dashboards for cost trends, forecasts, savings, and vendor performance
- Institutionalise SOPs that scale with growth
