Lead - Process Excellence - SCM & Operations

Role Overview:

We are currently working with one of our clients in Mumbai for the role of Lead Process Excellence.

Process Excellence & Transformation:

- Map As-is, redesign To-be, and optimize end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

- Lead business process re-engineering (BPR), process standardization across business units/categories, and procurement transformation through digitization and workflow automation.

Controls & Leakage Prevention:

- Design preventive, detective, and corrective control mechanisms to minimize procurement leakages.

- Identify process gaps causing financial losses, policy deviations, or supplier risks, and develop robust control frameworks to improve compliance.

Risk Management:

- Conduct periodic process risk assessments to identify weaknesses in control mechanisms, develop formal mitigation plans, and partner with Internal Audit, Finance, and Legal to strengthen corporate procurement controls.

Performance Management & Reporting:

- Define procurement KPIs and governance metrics.

- Develop tracking dashboards to monitor compliance, cycle times, efficiency, and savings realization, and present periodic performance reports to senior leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management:

- Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal, and Business teams to implement process improvements, drive organizational change management, and execute training programs on SOPs and policies.

Continuous Improvement:

- Build a continuous improvement culture using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

- Identify automation opportunities within ERP platforms and promote data-driven decision-making.

Ideal Profile:

- 10 - 15 Years of experience in Procurement, SCM, or Management Consulting.

- Led end-to-end S2P/P2P process mapping, redesign, and optimization projects.

- Designed and implemented internal control frameworks that successfully minimized financial leakage.

- Driven digital procurement transformation and ERP workflow automation initiatives.

- Managed cross-functional change initiatives involving Procurement, Finance, and Audit stakeholders.
