About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead/Principal Process Configuration Specialist to drive Front-End Loading (FEL) activities for large-scale Petrochemical Complex projects. The role demands expertise in conceptual development, techno-economic evaluations, value engineering, and early-stage project optimization.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who have led FEL-1/FEL-2, Feasibility Studies, and Pre-FEED assignments for global petrochemical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Process Configuration Studies during FEL and Pre-FEED stages.
- Conduct Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) including CAPEX/OPEX evaluations.
- Drive Value Engineering initiatives to optimize investment costs.
- Develop and evaluate alternative petrochemical configurations and product slates.
Prepare conceptual engineering deliverables including:
- Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs)
- Mass & Heat Balances
- Technology assessments
- Perform debottlenecking and revamp studies for existing assets.
- Evaluate and recommend Licensor Technologies.
- Support AACE Class 4/5 cost estimates through early equipment definition.
- Present technical proposals to senior stakeholders and project owners.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)
Strong experience in:
- FEL-1 / FEL-2
- Feasibility Studies
- Pre-FEED
- Conceptual Design
- Experience with global EPC organizations or technology licensors preferred.
