Lead - Presales
About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Pre-Sales Lead with a strong sales mindset and hands-on experience in managing and improving the pre-sales funnel. This role requires someone who can think strategically, execute with ownership, and collaborate closely with product, tech, sales, and growth teams to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead & Own the Pre-Sales Funnel
- Drive lead-to-visit (L2V) conversion and ensure consistent progress of prospects through the funnel.
- Take full ownership of the presales pipeline, from qualification to handoff to sales/closures teams.
- Build and refine scripts, SOPs, and workflows to maximize conversion rates.
2. Work Closely with Tech & Product Teams
- Collaborate with product and engineering to improve and scale tools such as CRM, AI calling systems, chatbots, lead-scoring tools, and automation workflows.
- Identify operational gaps and work with tech to build solutions that enhance team efficiency.
- Champion customer insights to influence product improvements.
3. Team Leadership & Customer Experience
- Lead and manage a team of calling agents/executives; drive performance, coaching, and operational excellence.
- Ensure every customer receives fast, accurate, and high-quality communication.
- Regularly train the team on product knowledge, objection handling, and customer empathy.
4. Data-Driven Execution
- Track and analyze key presales metrics: L2V conversion, response time, agent performance, and funnel drop-offs.
- Generate actionable insights to optimize funnel performance.
- Work hand-in-hand with Sales and Growth teams to align targets, improve quality of leads, and run experiments that improve results.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales, inside sales, sales operations, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong sales mindset with a proven ability to move customers through the funnel.
- Experience working with CRM tools, AI-based calling/chat systems, and automation workflows.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer empathy.
- Analytical mindset with comfort using dashboards, data tools, and reports.
