Lead - Payroll - Accounting/Finance

We're Hiring: Lead - Payroll | Lagos, Nigeria

Are you an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in large-scale payroll operations, financial planning, and team leadership?

We are looking for a Lead - Payroll to oversee end-to-end payroll operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely salary administration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and salary disbursement.

- Ensure compliance with payroll policies, statutory requirements, and labor regulations.

- Oversee payroll records, reconciliations, reporting, and payroll audits.

- Monitor payroll cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

- Prepare payroll-related management reports and variance analyses.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Payroll Accountants.

- Drive payroll process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

- 16 - 20 years of experience in payroll and finance operations.

- Proven experience managing payroll for 2,000+ employees.

- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, controls, and compliance requirements.

- Experience leading teams of Payroll Accountants.

- Hands-on expertise with ERP systems such as SAP, EPICOR, or similar platforms.

- Advanced Excel, analytical, and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Inter CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com
