Job Title: Operations Technology Lead

Job Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

Experienced professional with 10-12 years of expertise in Operation Technology such Fleet Management Operations, Facial Biometric, RFID and Hardware Infrastructure Management. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end deployment, maintenance, optimization, and compliance of fleet systems and biometric hardware solutions across multiple locations.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, vendor coordination, operational leadership, and planning capabilities.

- Oversee end-to-end fleet operations including vehicle tracking, gate management, fuel monitoring, RFID, Biometric device maintenance scheduling, and compliance.

- Manage MDVR/Dashcam/GPS tracking systems and telematics platforms.

- Ensure fleet optimization, cost control, and operational efficiency.

- Monitor KPIs e.g vehicle uptime, fuel efficiency, route optimization, & safety compliance.

- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, insurance, and safety standards.

- Lead vendor management for fleet leasing, servicing, and tracking solutions.

- Handle lifecycle of hardware assets including deployment, warranty, and AMC.

- Ensure high availability and preventive maintenance schedules.

- Coordinate multi-location hardware rollouts.

- Maintain hardware inventory and documentation

- Lead cross-functional teams including IT support, field engineers, and fleet supervisors.

- Manage third-party vendors and service providers.

- Conduct training sessions for internal teams on system usage and compliance

Technical Skills:

- Configuration and management of MDVR/Dashcam/GPS tracking devices

- Experience with telematics platforms

- IoT-based vehicle monitoring systems, RFID-based fleet identification systems

- CAN bus integration & vehicle diagnostics

- Integration with Access Control Systems & Attendance Management Systems (AMS)

- API integration with HRMS/ERP systems, SDK-based customization and deployment

- Active Directory integration. LAN/WAN configuration, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP configuration

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in engineering / IT / Electronics / Operations Management.

Experience:

- 10-12 years of experience in fleet operations, RFID Reader, gate management and biometric system deployment.

- Strong knowledge of MDVR/Dashcam/GPS systems, telematics, facial recognition technology, and access control systems

- Deep technical mastery in CAN-bus diagnostics, MDVR/Dashcam/GPS deployment, and Edge-AI biometric solutions. specialize in transforming raw vehicle data into actionable business intelligence while maintaining a robust security posture through facial recognition and liveness detection technologies

- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and infrastructure support.

- Experience handling large-scale multi-site deployments

- Excellent leadership, analytical, and vendor management skills.
