Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse, factory, and logistics operations, including inbound, inventory management, packaging, quality, outbound dispatch, transportation, returns, procurement coordination, supply planning, shift planning, and administrative functions.
- Ensure consistent achievement of customer service KPIs while optimizing operational costs and maintaining high standards of safety, discipline, and workforce engagement.
- Drive operational excellence across all warehouse and factory processes, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, inventory accuracy, and compliance standards.
- Oversee real-time system transactions and ERP operations to ensure end-to-end visibility of inventory movements, dispatch status, and workforce productivity.
- Manage on-roll and third-party workforce through effective shift rostering, manpower planning, and performance monitoring.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, workflow design, and resource allocation to meet productivity and cost objectives.
- Enforce workplace safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
- Lead performance management, capability building, and structured training programs to continuously upgrade team skills and operational maturity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance last-mile delivery performance, warehouse throughput, and order turnaround time.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve key warehouse and logistics KPIs including order accuracy, dispatch timelines, shrinkage, inventory turns, and logistics cost per order.
- Ensure strict FIFO compliance across all SKUs and precise management of expiry-sensitive inventory.
- Conduct regular 4M (Man, Machine, Method, Material) and 5S audits to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe operating environment.
- Apply root cause analysis tools such as 5-Why and Pareto analysis to identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure uninterrupted operations through effective management of rotational shifts and shift-level performance metrics.
- Coordinate seamlessly across labeling, packaging, production output, and distribution functions to maximize efficiency and service levels.
- Ensure high standards of product quality and regulatory compliance across labeling, packaging, and distribution through ongoing monitoring and audits.
- Collaborate with internal and external production teams to execute daily and weekly production plans while maintaining quality, hygiene, traceability, and compliance with applicable food safety and regulatory norms.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in factory operations, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within e-commerce, retail, grocery, agritech, or FMCG environments.
- Strong execution-focused mindset with a proven ability to drive results in high-volume, time-sensitive operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing large on-roll and outsourced workforce across multi-shift operations.
- Proven ability to handle ambiguity, operate in fast-paced environments, and take ownership of real-time operational challenges.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, ERP systems, and WMS platforms.
- Working knowledge or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, or continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and people leadership capabilities.
