Lead - Operational Excellence

Role: Lead Operational Excellence - Chemical Engineering degree is a mandatory requirement

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Improvement Support:

- Assist in identifying improvement areas across departments by collecting data and supporting analysis.

- Work on assigned improvement projects (cost reduction, quality improvement, productivity enhancement) under guidance.

- Help in defining measurable targets and track performance for improvement initiatives.

2. Project Coordination:

- Support the planning and coordination of business excellence projects across functions like Production, Maintenance, Quality, Purchase, Sales, and Logistics.

- Track project timelines, milestones, and ensure documentation and updates are maintained.

- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely closure of projects.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting:

- Gather and analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership reviews.

- Maintain cost-saving logs and ensure records are updated regularly.

4. Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices:

- Share learnings and best practices from completed projects across departments and locations.

- Support the horizontal deployment of successful improvement practices at other plants or teams.

5. Training & Capability Building:

- Assist in organizing training sessions on Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, RCA, and other quality tools.

- Encourage adoption of a continuous improvement mindset among plant/site teams.

- Support team leads and champions in using basic business excellence tools.

Location: HO in Pune. The role would require you to travel to the manufacturing units on demand.
