Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Lead - Operational Excellence to drive organization-wide process transformation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will focus on identifying improvement opportunities, optimizing business processes, implementing automation solutions, and enabling scalable execution across functions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, Process Excellence, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and cross-functional program management with a proven ability to deliver measurable business impact in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Process Transformation:

- Lead strategic operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and scalability.

- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across business functions.

- Design and implement process optimization frameworks to enhance business performance.

- Drive continuous improvement culture across teams using structured methodologies.

Business Transformation & Change Management:

- Lead cross-functional transformation projects aligned with organizational goals.

- Partner with leadership teams to define transformation roadmaps and execution strategies.

- Drive change management initiatives ensuring adoption of new processes and ways of working.

- Monitor transformation outcomes through defined KPIs and performance metrics.

Process Improvement & Automation:

- Evaluate existing workflows and implement process re-engineering initiatives.

- Identify opportunities for automation and digital enablement to improve operational effectiveness.

- Work closely with Technology/Product teams to implement scalable solutions.

- Establish governance mechanisms to track progress and ensure sustainable improvements.

Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement:

- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPM, and other process excellence methodologies.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.

- Drive standardization, waste reduction, cycle-time improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Develop frameworks, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for operational performance tracking.

Stakeholder & Program Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Customer Experience, and Business teams.

- Manage multiple high-impact projects from planning to successful execution.

- Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across various levels of the organization.

- Present insights, progress updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong experience in Operational Excellence / Process Excellence / Business Transformation / Consulting.

- Hands-on expertise with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPM, Process Re-engineering methodologies.

- Strong program/project management capabilities.

- Experience leading automation and digital transformation initiatives.

- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication, leadership, and execution skills.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 8-12 years of relevant experience in Operational Excellence, Transformation, Consulting, or Process Improvement roles.

- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced organizations preferred.

- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, productivity, or customer experience.

- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred.

Education:

- MBA / Engineering / equivalent qualification from a reputed institute preferred.
