Lead - MIS & OPS Productivity" role in a leading bank.
Location - Vashi /Mumbai
Job Purpose / Summary:
The role involves data extraction, dashboard/report creation, and analytical support to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency. The position focuses on automating end-to-end MIS processes - from data extraction to report publishing - to drive productivity and accuracy within the Liabilities Operations framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various units under the Liability Transaction Operations and Operations Support Group to understand data requirements.
- Extract data from servers and ensure accuracy through validation against specified requirements.
- Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly trackers highlighting internal control elements.
- Develop interactive dashboards and heat maps on critical operational parameters.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and prepare presentations (PPTs) for management reporting.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to streamline MIS reporting and enhance productivity.
Experience / Skillset / Qualifications:
Relevant Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in a banking environment (Liabilities/Assets domain preferred).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong data analytical skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Hands-on experience in data extraction from data servers.
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle), Python, or similar data-handling languages.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, macros, and automation).
- Strong presentation and communication skills for management reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage tight timelines.
