Job Purpose :
This Role will be a part of the Media Relations Centre of Excellence. It will support the organization's communications at a national level specially at Mumbai. The expectation is to drive external communication strategies and plans for the company and ensure that consistent and positive messages/ communications are released that promotes positive corporate image among various stakeholders through various media platforms.
Role and expectations:
- A strong and known face in media fraternity: National media (Press / TV) should have excellent relations with him/her as s/he needs to handle media relations with deep engagement.
- Strong content expertise
- Able to build relationship networks internally to engage widely and create narratives for the company
- Develop overall media relations strategy in collaboration with Head
- Communications and media relations CoE lead
- Provide Input for regional communications materials like newsletters, blogs, press releases and similar marketing materials in order to promote company's products and services.
- Implement company's communication plan in order to increase brand awareness.
- Develop and manage relationships with key media players+ stakeholders to secure and grow media online and offline coverage.
- Prepare the annual media relations budget and ensure its efficiently utilised
- Work with marketing, operations and CSR departments to generate new ideas and innovative strategies.
- Branding strategy execution in collaboration with central Corp communication team and Marketing team
- Ensure communications consistency among different stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual media activity reports.
- Planning the campaign calendar and initiatives aligned to the company's requirements.
