This is a strategic role in GIS function responsible for project management and driving process excellence initiatives in GIS team. As operations excellence leader, you will ensure project delivery is in order. Also, you will collaborate with GIS team members, and cross-functional leaders to design processes & control, diagnoses process failures, & automates processes, to help GIS organization ensure SLAs of time, cost, and quality. What you will do ? Project Management, Resource Planning - Create and oversee project plan, for ongoing projects and ensure delivery inline with agrees SLAs. - Assist in overall Capacity Planning & Execution - Identify, and manage vendor relationships for respective processes Process Excellence - Work on developing operations strategy and operating model design for GIS function - Identify and drive process and service excellence projects - create a business case, present project analysis and findings to senior leadership to obtain approval - Establish a baseline for overall project delivery, and specific processes - ensure adherence and governance - Execute a data-driven, statistical approach to problem-solving, including gathering, analyzing, and reporting data - Define appropriate metrics to gauge the performance of various processes through a structured governance model - Work with internal product team / external vendors to automate systems and processes - Identify training needs of the org, and work with internal team / external vendors to onboard team on these processes - Ensure that the processes are improving continuously, keeping in mind the business goals and organizational culture - Ensure that the processes are ever-evolving, keeping in mind the business goals and organizational culture What are we looking for ? - Post graduate in business/operations with 5-12 years' experience in process excellence in consulting / corporate environment - Strong problem solver, who can understand objectives and bring innovative, yet realistic solutions - Data-Driven operations analyst, who can do a cost-benefit analysis, create value frameworks, and develop business problem-solving frameworks. - Tech-savvy, willing to evangelize adopt automation, automate, whoever business value can be derived via that. - Excellent communicator, who can create and deliver executive presentations and facilitate large, cross-functional working sessions - Self-driven individual, who takes the lead, is responsible for the outcome, and partners across the organization to influence all levels of management and peers
