Lead/Manager - Indirect Taxation - CA/LLB

Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Indirect Taxation Lead to oversee end-to-end GST, Customs, and International Trade compliance, advisory, and litigation for a premier corporate entity.

Key Responsibilities:

- GST & Customs Management: Oversee GST return filings, tax calculations, customs clearance, and dispute adjudications.

- Litigation & Authority Interface: Manage all-India litigation, draft appeals, appear before quasi-judicial authorities, and brief senior counsels.

- DGFT & Strategy: Coordinate with DGFT authorities to maximize trade benefits across divisions; partner with ISCM/Commercial teams for optimal transaction structuring.

- Compliance & Audits: Lead statutory audits, resolve tax disputes, and embed continuous process improvements.

- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of 6-7 indirect tax professionals.

Requirements:

- CA (2015/2016/2017 batch) or LL.B. with deep experience in core Indirect Tax (GST, Customs, DGFT).

- Proven track record of direct interaction with tax authorities and external legal consultants.

- Hands-on experience with SAP / ERP systems.

- Strong team management and high-level legal drafting skills.
