Lead - Integrated Planning - FMCG

Role Overview :

An opportunity to lead end-to-end planning for a high-volume, fast-paced business, driving service levels, efficiency, and working capital optimization for a leading large-scale FMCG with multiple manufacturing units and distribution network across India.

Key Responsibilities :

S&OP & Integrated Planning :

- Lead the S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment (sales, manufacturing, procurement, finance)

- Drive scenario planning and decision-making frameworks

Inventory & Working Capital Management :

- Drive inventory optimization across plants, warehouses, and distribution network

- Ensure right stock availability across SKUs and locations

Demand Planning :

- Lead demand forecasting and planning across regions and channels

- Drive forecast accuracy through data, analytics, and close alignment with sales teams

Supply & Production Planning :

- Own supply planning and production alignment across multiple plants

- Ensure optimal capacity utilization and production scheduling

- Balance demand-supply gaps while minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory

Distribution & Network Planning :

- Optimize distribution and replenishment planning across the network

- Improve service levels, fill rates, and order fulfillment timelines

- Support network design and expansion initiatives

Process Excellence & Digitization :

- Drive planning excellence through automation, analytics, and digital tools

- Implement best practices in planning systems and dashboards

Qualifications :

- Masters Degree or Equivalent in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations

- 12+ years of experience in planning roles within FMCG/beverages/high-volume manufacturing

Skills/ Key Competencies :

- Strong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management

- Proven experience in leading S&OP and integrated business planning

- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities

- Experience with planning tools, ERP systems, and digital transformation initiatives

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
