Lead Insurance Analytics P&C Description: The role is with a global Insurance firm. About the Role: The Insurance Analytics Manager, Global Shared Services (GSS) is a AVP role reporting to GSS Insurance Analytics Leader and supporting the team based out of India for all matters related to governance, talent management and strategy aligned to various Insurance Analytics engagements spread across geographies. The team oversees the execution of the overall Enterprise wide outsourcing workstream and serves as a single point of contact for home office and Regions. Responsibilities: - 9+ years of work experience in Core Analytics roles in the P&C insurance domain, spread across various departments in the Insurance value chain like Marketing, Pricing, Underwriting, Finance and Claims (SME in at least one of the areas). - Hands on experience in tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python and visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Tableau. - Have considerable experience in working in an offshore-onshore environment, with multiple stakeholders spread across geographies. - Be able to work independently and in a team environment while balancing creative problem-solving with concrete business needs. - Have a strategic and tactical business judgment and maintain a sense of urgency to execute quickly and efficiently. - Be flexible to work across time zones to support global teams as necessary. - Be open to travel across international locations to support business requirements as necessary. Qualifications: - Masters in business administration from Top Tier Institute. - Higher education in P&C Insurance (i.e., MBA, ACII, CPCU or FIII) is preferred. - Proven experience in working with / managing cross-functional teams. - Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents. Required Skills: - Experience in Core Analytics roles in the P&C insurance domain. - Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau. - Ability to work in offshore-onshore environments. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Strategic and tactical business judgment. - Flexibility to work across time zones. - Willingness to travel internationally.
