Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy for acquiring new institutional clients, including domestic mutual funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, and foreign institutional investors (FIIs).
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing institutional clients, acting as a trusted advisor on market trends and investment ideas.
- Focus on significantly increasing the business and wallet share from the existing client base by cross-selling products and services and enhancing client engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the firm's research team to effectively market and deliver proprietary research insights and trading strategies to clients.
- Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and risks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 15+ Years of proven experience in Institutional Equity Sales within a Capital Market Organization.
- Strong, established relationships with key decision-makers (fund managers, CIOs) at institutional firms in India.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets, acquiring new business, and growing existing client portfolios.
- Deep knowledge of the Indian equity markets, various sectors, and macroeconomic factors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- An MBA or equivalent degree from a reputable institution is preferred.
