Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hospitals mission, values, and operational goals
- Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management
- Lead HR policy development in compliance with healthcare and labor regulations
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee recruitment and retention of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Ensure staffing levels meet patient care, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
- Implement succession planning for key clinical and administrative roles
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Promote a positive work environment and address employee relations issues effectively
- Oversee performance management systems and staff appraisal processes
- Manage grievance, disciplinary, and conflict resolution procedures
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and oversee continuous professional development programs
- Support clinical competency, leadership development, and mandatory healthcare training
- Promote staff engagement, wellbeing, and diversity & inclusion initiatives
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Oversight
- Develop competitive compensation and benefits structures
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with employment laws
- Conduct salary benchmarking and workforce cost analysis
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards
- Oversee HR audits, policies, and documentation
- Manage occupational health, safety, and employee wellbeing programs
HR Operations & Systems
- Lead HR team operations and performance
- Implement and manage HR information systems (HRIS)
- Prepare HR metrics and reports for executive leadership
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Masters degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) preferred
Experience:
- 8 to 12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Strong understanding of healthcare labor laws, staffing models, and accreditation requirements
