Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational, compliance, and payroll aspects for our dynamic, fast-growing D2C brand. The ideal candidate has a passion for building efficient systems and a deep understanding of HR best practices in a high-growth environment. This would be the first hire in the HR team and would be a critical role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and continuously improve HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee data management.


- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely

payment. This includes calculating salaries, deductions, taxes, bonuses, and commissions.

- Ensure the company's HR practices and policies are in full compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.

- Act as the main point of contact for all employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR policies, benefits, and general employment matters.

- Manage and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.

- Oversee the administration of all employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring smooth enrolment and support.

Skills & Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 3-7 years of progressive experience in an HR role, with a strong focus on HR operations, compliance, and payroll.

- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably for a D2C or e-commerce brand.

- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.


- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
