HR Lead Operations & Governance:

About the Role:

We are looking for an HR Lead to drive people operations, governance, and HR execution across a multi-entity organization. This is a hands-on role focused on strengthening HR processes, ensuring policy compliance, driving operational excellence, and partnering with senior leadership to deliver consistent people practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own organization structure, workforce planning, and headcount governance.

- Lead end-to-end hiring for leadership, specialized, and corporate roles, ensuring alignment with approved plans and budgets.

- Drive performance management, appraisal cycles, promotions, and performance improvement processes.

- Oversee compensation, payroll inputs, HR policies, and benefits administration.

- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, confirmations, contract renewals, and exits.

- Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and separations in a compliant and objective manner.

- Ensure statutory HR and labor law compliance, documentation, and audit readiness.

- Maintain HR MIS, dashboards, and reports covering headcount, attrition, vacancies, and workforce metrics.

- Lead the HR operations team, ensuring process adherence, timely execution, and operational excellence.

- Partner with business leaders, finance, and operations to drive HR governance and resolve people-related matters.

Ideal Candidate:

- Postgraduate qualification in HR, Management, or a related field.

- 12+ years of HR experience, preferably in education, services, or multi-location organizations.

- Strong expertise in HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.

- Experience managing specialized or academic talent is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR governance.

- Process-oriented, execution-focused, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
