We are looking for an experienced HR & IR professional with strong exposure to the textile manufacturing industry. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions including manpower planning, employee engagement, statutory compliance, labor relations, disciplinary processes, union handling, and workforce management across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working in factory environments and managing blue-collar workforce in textile, garment, spinning, weaving, processing, or apparel manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:

- Manage end-to-end HR operations for manufacturing plants

- Handle recruitment and onboarding of staff and workers

- Drive manpower planning and workforce optimization

- Implement performance management and employee development initiatives

- Maintain employee records, HR policies, and HRMIS data

- Support training, succession planning, and talent retention initiatives

- Ensure smooth payroll coordination and attendance management

Industrial Relations (IR):

- Manage union relationships and maintain healthy industrial relations

- Handle grievance management, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements

- Lead negotiations with unions and worker representatives

- Monitor employee discipline and factory code of conduct

- Handle labor disputes, settlements, and legal coordination when required

- Ensure peaceful plant operations and prevent industrial disruptions

Compliance & Statutory Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance under:

1. Factories Act

2. Industrial Disputes Act

3. Shops & Establishment Act

4. PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages, etc.

- Coordinate with government authorities and labor departments

- Maintain statutory registers, records, and licenses

- Support internal and external audits

Employee Engagement & Welfare:

- Implement employee welfare initiatives for factory workforce

- Conduct employee engagement activities and awareness programs

- Address worker grievances and improve workplace culture

- Promote safety, discipline, and ethical work practices

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of labor laws and industrial relations practices

- Experience in handling unions and factory workforce

- Knowledge of HR operations and compliance management

- Familiarity with payroll and attendance systems

- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS software
