Lead - HR Business Partner + Talent Acquisition - Startup

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

- Lead the development and execution of the company's talent acquisition strategy across all functions and levels.

- Build hiring plans aligned with business priorities and future capability needs.

- Drive employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's talent pipeline.

- Partner with business leaders to ensure a high quality candidate experience and effective talent forecasting.

2. Performance Management:

- Design and enhance performance management frameworks that drive productivity, accountability, and role clarity.

- Implement continuous performance review processes, calibration mechanisms, and leadership assessments.

- Partner with business heads to translate business goals into measurable performance outcomes.

- Drive performance linked decision making around compensation, development, and succession.

3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building:

- Design and execute engagement strategies that foster a positive, inclusive, high performance culture.

- Lead internal communication programs, pulse surveys, and action plans to drive engagement scores.

- Strengthen leadership employee connect through structured engagement platforms (townhalls, skip levels, etc.).

4. Rewards & Recognition (R&R):

- Develop and manage recognition programs aligned with company values and performance outcomes.

- Create differentiated reward frameworks for high performers, high potential talent, and critical roles.

- Partner with the Total Rewards team (if applicable) to ensure fairness, transparency, and competitiveness.

5. Continuous Improvement of HR Processes:

- Identify, design, and implement HR process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.

- Lead digital transformation initiatives across HR operations, HRMS, and analytics.

- Establish governance frameworks, SOPs, and audit ready processes across the HR lifecycle.

6. Employer Branding:

- Build a compelling employer value proposition (EVP) and drive initiatives that strengthen the organization's market presence.

- Collaborate with Marketing/Branding teams to create talent focused campaigns, social media content, and campus outreach.

- Lead efforts to position the company as an employer of choice.

7. Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as a strategic advisor to CXO leadership on people related matters.

- Manage, mentor, and develop high performing HR teams.

- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the HR function.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field

- 8-14 years of HR experience with strong exposure to multiple HR COEs.

- Demonstrated success in leading Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Engagement, and HR transformation initiatives.

- Experience in high growth or multi location organizations preferred.

- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
