HR Business Partner lead Shared Services (Finance) & Corporate Functions

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Shared Services organization (with a strong focus on Finance) as well as selected Corporate Functions. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor and change agent, aligning people strategy with business objectives, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring talent readiness for future growth. This role requires a mix of strategic HR partnering, talent enablement, workforce effectiveness, and employee experience management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Shared Services leadership (Finance, IT, HR Ops) and Corporate Function Heads to co-create and implement people strategies that align with business objectives.
- Drive organizational design, role architecture, and workforce optimization for evolving business needs.
- Lead Talent Management & Succession Planning by identifying critical roles, assessing bench strength, and enabling talent mobility.
- Champion Employee Experience & Engagement by embedding culture initiatives, conducting employee listening forums, and driving retention interventions.
- Orchestrate the Performance Management process by embedding continuous feedback, calibration, and linkage to rewards.
- Partner with CoEs to deliver total rewards strategy, L&D interventions, and capability-building frameworks for Shared Services.
- Lead Change Management & Transformation initiatives, especially in Finance Shared Services, to support digital adoption, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage Employee Relations, Compliance, and Policy Governance to ensure a fair, inclusive, and compliant workplace.
- Leverage People Analytics & HR Dashboards to provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
- Act as a culture custodian, reinforcing SKF values, inclusion, and high-performance ethos.
Education & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute.
- 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, with 3-5 years in HRBP capacity.
- Strong exposure to Shared Services/GBS environments (Finance domain preferred).
- Proven track record of partnering with corporate functions (Finance, Legal, Strategy, IT, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and global HR standards.
