1. HR Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies and solutions to support the organization's goals and priorities.
2. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to labor laws, factory regulations, and occupational safety norms, mitigating risks and maintaining a safe work environment.
3. Talent Management and Development: Implement HR systems, analytics, and capability development frameworks to attract, retain, and upskill a high-performing workforce.
4. Employee Relations and Union Dynamics: Manage the complex dynamics of the unionized workforce, fostering positive employee relations and effectively navigating contract negotiations.
Critical Tasks (Key Activities)
1. Serve as a strategic business partner, collaborating with plant leadership to understand business challenges and develop tailored HR solutions.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, factory regulations, and occupational safety norms, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
3. Implement and optimize HR systems, analytics, and capability development frameworks to enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
4. Manage the complex dynamics of the unionized workforce, fostering positive employee relations and effectively navigating contract negotiations.
5. Develop and execute talent management strategies, including recruitment, performance management, and succession planning.
6. Spearhead change management initiatives, effectively communicating and gaining buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, while maintaining a high level of employee empathy and business orientation.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and employee well-being.
Education Qualification & Certifications
MBA / PGDM / MLS in HR from a reputed institute.
Relevant Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a manufacturing plant HR role. Experience in steel, metals, cement, engineering, or large-scale industrial setups is preferred. Candidates with experience in employee relations and industrial relations will have a significant advantage.
