Description:
We are working with a leading global multinational in the Infrastructure and Manufacturing space that plays a critical role in strengthening road, rail, and urban safety across major projects in India. They are looking to appoint a Lead Government Relations to help shape public policy, guide tender requirements, and translate long-term strategies into impactful infrastructure initiatives.
This position is strategically positioned at the convergence of public-sector engagement, technical solution development, and program creation, with a focus on integrating international safety standards into India's infrastructure landscape.
Role Overview:
- Assess infrastructure and safety shortfalls and develop scalable solutions aligned with international benchmarks.
- Engage closely with government bodies, PSUs, consultants, and influencers to shape and guide tender and specification frameworks.
- Establish and maintain senior-level relationships across roadways, rail systems, and urban development authorities.
- Act as the organization's representative in policy discussions, industry bodies, and regulatory forums to support standards enhancement.
- Stimulate market adoption through safety advocacy programs, CSR-led initiatives, and technical knowledge platforms.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure cohesive and scalable execution of proposed solutions.
To fit the bill, you must have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in government liaison, tendering environments, or public-sectordriven business development.
- Deep familiarity with infrastructure, transportation systems, or large-scale government projects.
- A strong track record of influencing tender conditions, technical specifications, or regulatory frameworks.
