Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end international logistics operations from planning through global delivery.

- Ensure smooth export execution across multiple regions with accurate documentation, compliance, and on-time dispatch.

- Develop tailored logistics solutions for shipments moving to varied international destinations.

- Manage commercial aspects of global freight, including vendor assessment, onboarding, and contract finalization.

- Lead negotiations with shipping lines and freight partners while monitoring market rates, capacities, and service levels.

- Track global freight trends, supply chain disruptions, and pricing movements to recommend cost-effective contracting strategies.

- Drive annual logistics cost-optimization initiatives without compromising service performance.

- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs norms, statutory export requirements, and accurate documentation.

- Maintain strong understanding of global taxation requirements applicable to export logistics.

- Oversee DDP shipments to the US, Europe, and other regions with full compliance to local regulatory obligations.

- Support group-level logistics improvement programs, including digital tools, TMS implementation, and process enhancements.

- Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, and business teams to align freight planning with delivery priorities.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with shipping partners, customs stakeholders, and international logistics networks.

- Provide operational teams with guidance, contracting support, and escalation management.

Skills & Experience

- Bring 15+ years of hands-on experience in international logistics and export operations.

- Strong expertise in freight contracting with global shipping lines and freight forwarders.

- Proven capability in designing and executing complex global logistics models.

- Deep knowledge of customs processes, global taxation elements, and export compliance frameworks.

- Experience managing DDP shipments to major global markets.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

- Ability to lead logistics transformation programs and deliver measurable performance improvements.
