Our client, a leading global consulting firm, specialises in delivering transformative solutions across industries, including financial services. They are currently engaged in a strategic initiative to establish a Global Capability Centre (GCC) for a prominent US-based insurer, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and scalable innovation through offshore capabilities.

As a key consultant on this project, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the end-to-end GCC setup-from process design and transition to in-depth research - enabling the insurer to build a robust, high-performing centre that drives long-term competitive advantage and seamless global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and implementation of processes to migrate core functions to the GCC, collaborating with client leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruption and maximum value capture.

- Conduct comprehensive GCC research, including benchmarking best practices, vendor evaluations, and market analysis, to inform strategic decisions on location, talent, and technology stack.

- Oversee the actual transition of operations to the GCC, working closely with end-client stakeholders to manage change, mitigate risks, and achieve key milestones in setup and go-live.

- Advise on the establishment of BPO, KPO, GBS, and outsourcing models within the GCC framework, influencing governance structures, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.

- Partner with consulting firm experts and insurer executives to develop scalable frameworks for ongoing GCC optimisation, focusing on talent acquisition, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions to build internal capabilities, ensuring the GCC team is equipped for sustained success post-launch.

Your Background:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in GCC design, transition, and research, with a proven track record of delivering successful setups for multinational clients.

- Deep expertise in establishing BPO, KPO, GBS, and outsourcing operations, including process reengineering, vendor management, and offshore scaling.

- Strong background in the financial services sector, particularly insurance, with familiarity in regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational transformation.

- Advanced degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or outsourcing (e.g., COPC) are advantageous.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders in fast-paced, international environments.
