Role Overview: Senior leadership position based at the Ahmedabad Head Office. Reports to the Head - Food Service. - Directly manages National Key Account Managers; works in a matrix with Business Development Managers. - Collaborates internally with Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams. - Interfaces externally with national/regional food service key accounts and large local manufacturing customers. Candidate Profile: - MBA from a premier B-school; preference for candidates with a Hotel Management background. - 10-12 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Key Account Management within the Food Service sector. Ideal age bracket: 35-40 years. - In-depth understanding of food service channels including QSRs, hospitality, fine dining, cloud kitchens, and aggregators. - Strong in account development, relationship management, and multi-stakeholder engagement (e.g., chefs, buyers, promoters). - Technical knowledge of food products and applications to ensure credible client interaction. Behavioral Competencies: - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented. - Strong analytical skills with a focus on insights and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver sales and profitability targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Build and manage a customer-brand opportunity pipeline across short (3 months), mid (6 months), and long-term (12 months) horizons. - Establish structured review mechanisms with Key Account Managers and Business Development Managers. - Partner with marketing to co-develop strategies for existing and new products, as well as demand generation. - Define and implement a strategic approach to Key Account Management within the food service vertical.
