Lead - Fleet Management (HCV)

A growing mobility startup in the heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) segment is looking for a seasoned Lead- Fleet Management to lead end-to-end oversight of leased HCV across their lifecycle.

This is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for ensuring asset visibility, performance, risk mitigation, and value protection-from specification and onboarding through in-life monitoring, exception handling, and eventual lease closure or redeployment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define HCV specs aligned to duty cycles, financials, and warranties

- Ensure asset readiness at go-live, including documentation, permits, insurance, and telematics activation

- Track in-life fleet performance across utilisation, energy efficiency, battery health, availability, and downtime

- Detect early risk indicators and drive timely corrective actions for misuse, deviations, or accelerated wear

- Oversee portfolio-level asset health, preventive maintenance adherence, and warranty/AMC claim outcomes

- Serve as the primary escalation interface with OEMs, battery partners, telematics providers, and insurers

- Lead incident management for accidents, thermal events, and insurance claims through closure and recovery

- Monitor asset condition to enable lease extensions, redeployment, and residual value protection

What We're Looking For

- 12+ years of experience in fleet or asset management with strong HCV exposure (buses/trucks mandatory)

- Hands-on experience with OEMs, warranties, telematics systems, and large fleet data

- Strong commercial, contractual, and risk-management orientation

- Prior exposure to electric mobility preferred
