Lead - Financial Reporting - CA

About the Role

This role demands a deep understanding of Ind AS (specifically for NBFCs), group-level consolidation, and regulatory compliances. The ideal candidate will drive financial governance, spearhead automation, and standardize reporting processes across the group while managing senior stakeholders and auditors.

Roles and Responsibilities

- End-to-End Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements in strict compliance with Ind AS applicable to NBFCs.

- Group Consolidation: Manage financial reporting across a complex group structure, ensuring seamless consolidation and group-level reporting.

- Governance & Board Reporting: Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for the Management, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies.

- Audit & Compliance Management: Act as the primary interface for internal and external auditors, ensuring absolute compliance with regulatory guidelines and driving the timely closure of all audit observations.

- GL Control & Documentation: Strengthen internal controls by rationalizing General Ledgers (GLs), building robust GL controls, and maintaining meticulous documentation.

- Team Leadership & Standardization: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing financial reporting team while standardizing workflows across all group entities.

- Automation & Transformation: Drive technology initiatives to automate manual activities, streamline data compilation, and enhance accounting system capabilities.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with business teams, regulators, auditors, and senior internal stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Chartered Accountant or equivalent post-graduate degree in Finance.

- Experience: 12-15 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting within the

BFSI space.

- Technical Expertise: Subject matter expertise in Ind AS, group consolidation, and GL management.

- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, sharp stakeholder management, and a transformation-oriented mindset with a track record of driving system automations.
