Dynamics of the Role
The incumbent is responsible for growth initiatives and support in formulating financial plans for the organization. S/he is accountable for establishing guidelines, setting policies, and ensuring compliance with established company policies. The role will support in all areas of strategic and structured financial planning, budgeting/ forecasting cash flows and investment planning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze periodic performance of business - organization-wide as well as product and customer segment level.
- Work closely with all Business Heads in understanding the business and product responsibilities and defining the success criteria for each business, product and vertical
- Build partnerships across functions to align and work on strategic plans and execution
- Preparing forecasting models and scenario analysis of the initiatives, products and partnerships
- Support in driving business reviews along with Vertical Leads, CEO and CFO, leveraging the Business Intelligence framework.
- Preparing various periodic reports and presentations, including board and management presentations.
- Analyzing and identifying potential opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth along with underlying risks arising out of changing market conditions, product & infrastructure investments along with customer wins & attrition.
- Working on automation of reports along with process improvements within subfunction.
Experience and Skills
- Graduate in any field / CA /CFA/ MBA graduate
- Above 14+ years relevant experience with a medium-sized professionally managed company.
- Strong managerial skills to lead a team and help them grow in their respective roles.
- Extremely strong in mental math's and analysis of data.
- Willingness to learn quickly and improve.
- Hugely effective articulating and influencing skills.
- Sharp eye for catching any errors.
- Lots of energy and passion for work execution and doing things in a better way.
- Strongly collaborative nature; but ensure getting things done in time
- Willingness to learn and grow within Finance team, by observing other areas
- Strong communication skills, including writing business mails
- Proficient in MS Office, i.e; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Innovative in bringing new automations with the respective areas & analytical skills.
