Lead - Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities:

- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Built dynamic financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, scenario planning) to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Debt Financing: Assisted in raising debt from lenders by preparing lender-ready financial models, projections, and compliance documentation.

- Fundraising Support: Partnered with management during fundraising rounds; managed investor documentation, compliance checks, and liaised with legal & financial advisors.

- Due Diligence Management: Led financial due diligence as a client representative with Big 4 auditors, ensuring accuracy, data completeness, and timely responses to queries.

- Finance Leadership: Led and mentored the company's finance team, driving process improvements in reporting, MIS, and working capital management.

- Unit Economics & Strategy: Developed and tracked detailed unit economics, providing insights that shaped pricing, margin improvement, and long-term strategic planning.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Designed rolling forecasts and annual budgets, monitored variances, and presented financial insights to senior leadership.

- Stakeholder Management: Coordinated with internal teams (sales, operations, product) and external partners (banks, investors, advisors) to ensure alignment on financial objectives.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensured adherence to statutory compliance, investor reporting standars, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance. MBA/ CA/ CFA would be preferred

Requirements:

- Atleast 2-3 years experience in Financial Planning & Accounting

- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting principles.

- Proficiency in financial modeling (e.g., in Excel) and data analysis.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong business partnering and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis.

- Experience with financial software and ERP systems is often preferred.
