Lead - Finance
Role and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Strategy:
1. Lead annual and quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
2. Align financial plans with organizational and fundraising priorities.
3. Manage cash flow to ensure adequate runway and liquidity.
Financial Operations and Compliance:
1. Oversee accounting, audits, and statutory compliance under relevant laws.
2. Strengthen internal controls, policies, and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
3. Ensure timely and high-quality donor and statutory reporting.
Management Reporting and Insights:
1. Prepare monthly financial reports with variance and trend analysis.
2. Support teams in cost efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
3. Anticipate financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Leadership and Collaboration:
1. Mentor and develop the finance team's technical and leadership capacity.
2. Collaborate across functions to enable sound financial decisions.
3. Drive adoption of technology-enabled finance tools and reporting systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management.
- Strong knowledge of non-profit finance, donor compliance, and Corporate Social Responsibility funding.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, reporting, and cash flow management.
