Role Overview:

- We are looking for a Finance lead who can take ownership of core finance functions while coordinating with external partners for accounting, compliance, and legal matters.

- This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment, is hands-on with financial operations, and can wear multiple hats as needed. While most statutory filings are outsourced, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and process discipline across India and U.S. entities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage internal finance operations including vendor payments, reimbursements, payroll coordination, invoice records, and financial documentation. (Assignment)

- Prepare and track MIS, cash flow reports, budgets, and monthly financial insights for management. (Assignment)

- Verify and track expenses, reimbursements, and vendor payments to ensure financial discipline.

- Coordinate with accounting, tax, and CS partners for compliance requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, ROC, RBI, income tax, statutory audits, etc.) - R1

- Liaise with U.S. tax advisors on company filings (1120, 5471/5472, franchise tax, state returns), ensuring timely completion - R1

- Support investor reporting, due diligence, and audit processes by consolidating and reviewing information from agencies - R3

- Work closely with consultants for legal and compliance matters on a one-time or need basis - R1

- Monitor budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives across the organization - Assignment

- Introduce simple financial processes, tools, and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency - R1

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification with 2-6 years of experience.

- Strong foundation in finance, MIS reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

- Exposure to working with external consultants/agencies for secretarial, compliance and legal functions.

- Startup mindset: hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.

- Excellent coordination and communication skills for managing consultants, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
