Lead - Export Logistics

About:

- Manage end-to-end export logistics operations, including ocean freight negotiations (Sea, Air & LCL) and coordination with agents for timely container placements.

- Ensure timely order processing, dispatch activities, and adherence to transit schedules to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.

- Conduct credit and payment checks, optimize logistics operations to reduce costs, and facilitate smooth post-shipment processes for faster payment collection.

- Oversee export documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of contracts, invoices, permits, and shipping instructions.

- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, quality assurance, procurement) and external partners (factories, inspection agencies, C&F agents, shipping lines) for seamless order execution.

- Ensure compliance with export-import regulations, customs procedures, ECGC credit limits, and trade agreements.

- Generate and maintain MIS reports related to shipping and post-shipment documentation, including bills of lading, inspection reports, and certificates of origin.

- Provide proactive customer service by confirming orders, sharing shipment updates, resolving delivery issues, and facilitating approvals for samples.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements, digitization of documentation, automation of repetitive tasks, and implementation of SOPs to enhance efficiency.

- Drive risk mitigation strategies, forward-looking planning, and continuous improvement in export logistics operations.
