Lead Equity Research Analyst - Pharma/Healthcare Sector

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Equity Research Analyst with expertise in the Pharma/Healthcare sector to drive in-depth research, financial analysis, and investment insights. The role involves sector tracking, company coverage, valuation analysis, report preparation, and active engagement with institutional clients and company management teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Track and analyze companies within the assigned Pharma/Healthcare sector.

- Build, update, and maintain detailed financial and earnings models.

- Prepare quarterly result updates, management interaction notes, and company coverage reports.

- Conduct valuation analysis and develop investment recommendations.

- Publish thematic reports, sector strategy reports, and initiate coverage reports.

- Regularly update valuation matrices and disseminate insights to stakeholders.

- Coordinate with global research teams to align research perspectives.

- Interact with company management, industry experts, and institutional investors.

- Build and strengthen relationships with domestic and foreign institutional investors (DII/FPI).

- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 5+ years of experience in Equity Research, preferably covering the Pharma/Healthcare sector.

- Strong understanding of the Indian equity markets.

- Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

- Experience in report writing and investment thesis development.

- Strong quantitative aptitude and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage client relationships and interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
