Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Equity Research professional to lead FMCG sector coverage for our Institutional Equities business. The role involves conducting fundamental research, building financial models, publishing research reports, and generating actionable investment ideas for domestic institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead coverage of listed FMCG companies in the Indian equity market.

- Build and maintain detailed financial models, earnings forecasts, and valuation models.

- Publish initiation reports, result updates, thematic reports, and sector notes.

- Generate stock recommendations and investment ideas for institutional clients.

- Conduct company meetings, management interactions, channel checks, and industry research.

- Track sector developments, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends.

- Present investment views and sector insights to domestic institutional clients.

- Work closely with Institutional Sales and Trading teams to support client engagement.

- Participate in earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows, and corporate access events.

- Mentor and guide junior members of the research team.

Candidate Profile :

- MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.

- 8 - 15 years of experience in Equity Research with strong FMCG sector coverage.

- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and fundamental analysis.

- Sound understanding of capital markets and institutional research.

- Proven track record of publishing high-quality research reports and generating investment ideas.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience interacting with company management teams and institutional investors.

- Ability to independently manage sector coverage and deliver timely insights.
