
Role Purpose
The Lead - Enterprise Finance Solutions (SAP) will provide strategic, functional, and delivery leadership for large-scale Finance & Accounting (F&A) transformation initiatives powered by SAP platforms.
This role is accountable for defining the finance transformation vision, owning enterprise-wide SAP F&A solution design, governing delivery execution, and driving measurable business outcomes while engaging senior finance and IT stakeholders globally.
Key Leadership Responsibilities:
Strategic & Business Leadership:
- Act as enterprise F&A solution leader for SAP-led transformation programs across regions.
- Partner with CFOs, Finance Heads, Global Process Owners, and IT leadership to define finance transformation roadmaps.
- Drive global process standardization, harmonization, and operating model design aligned with business strategy.
- Provide thought leadership on finance modernization, shared services, and digital finance transformation.
SAP Solution Ownership:
Own end-to-end SAP Finance solution architecture and governance across:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
- SAP ECC (where applicable)
- Central Finance, Group Reporting, Controlling, and FSCM
Provide solution leadership across core F&A areas:
- Record to Report (R2R)
- Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A)
- Ensure strong design around controls, compliance, auditability, and statutory reporting.
- Review and sign off on functional designs, integration strategies, data migration approaches, and reporting frameworks.
Program & Delivery Leadership:
- Lead large, complex SAP finance transformation programs involving multiple vendors and geographies.
- Ensure disciplined delivery across scope, timelines, budget, and quality.
- Chair executive governance forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews.
- Proactively manage risks, interdependencies, and executive escalations.
- Own business readiness, UAT strategy, cutover planning, and stabilization from a finance outcome perspective.
People & Practice Leadership:
- Build and mentor senior SAP F&A consultants, solution architects, and functional leads.
- Define capability standards, delivery best practices, and solution governance frameworks for SAP Finance.
- Oversee knowledge management, solution quality, and talent succession for the SAP F&A practice.
- Support leadership hiring, capability scaling, and long-term practice growth.
Pre-Sales & Client Growth:
- Lead solutioning, estimations, and value articulation for SAP F&A transformation deals.
- Shape client narratives, transformation roadmaps, and solution blueprints during pursuits and renewals.
- Engage in CXO-level discussions, proposal defenses, and executive presentations.
Critical Skills & Experience:
Leadership & Transformation Experience:
- 1218+ years of experience in Enterprise Finance & Accounting.
- Strong track record of leading SAP-based finance transformations in global environments.
- Proven experience operating at CFO / CXO level with strong stakeholder influence.
SAP Expertise:
Deep hands-on and leadership experience with:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
- SAP ECC Finance (FI/CO)
- Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury, or FSCM is a plus
- Strong understanding of ERP integrations, data migration, controls, and enterprise reporting.

Education & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline.
- CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certifications highly desirable.
