Our Real Estate Client is Hiring Lead Design Architect for Mumbai Location

Reporting to: GM Projects

Work Day: 6 days in a week

Job Description:

- In-depth understanding of Built Environments, including Building Design, Master planning, Urban Development and related aspects, Compliances to Statutory & Regulatory requirements - good skills in preparing and presenting detailed project report, conducting project evaluation & feasibility studies of the proposed project and schemes.

- Ensuring Architectural Design, Civil Structural Design and Design of MEPS systems as per the prevailing National Building Codes, local Building bye-laws, IGBC/LEED guidelines.

- To present the organizations project in appropriate forums such as MCGM, concerned Local Municipal / State / National Government Authorities, to help obtain necessary approvals for the various Projects of the Business.

- Lead / Assist in the Business with Project Appraisals, Development of Construction Materials and related research, Coordinate with Customers / End users, Design / Technical Consultants, Suppliers & Business Partners to help Design and Develop appropriate solutions as per Stakeholder expectations that help create the right product / service differentiation which can yield a much better ROI

- Design Conceptualization ability for Development of Construction Projects (Industrial, Residential & Commercial) and integration of various elements of Design namely; Architecture, Structure, MEP Services, Landscape, Interior, Lighting, Fa- ade, Green Building compliance (IGBC/LEED) for real estate development of large projects.

- Spearhead and anchor entire design process to ensure design has high marketability, functional & economical soundness, provision of great environment for users

- Appoint appropriate International AOR & Design Consultants and Contractors/Vendors - developing RFPs, Design briefs, comparative analysis, negotiations and drafting up Agreements ensuring End to end delivery of Design and Project management.

- Value Engineering / Value design, Cost engineering / Cost optimization through design, Knowledge in Construction Technologies, Product optimization as per business requirements, Technical due diligence & other process required during preconstruction stage.

- Develop and establish Checks and Measures to ensure detailing in outputs for construction activity.

- Ensure Design Validation process through personal visits to Sites, Interaction with end users, feedback from customers and incorporating the same into design and development process.

- Creating & enhancing value by ensuring Innovation in Architectural Design process in line with requirements from stakeholders.

- Setting & Implementation of Product Performance Standards, specifications and selection of appropriate materials.

- Lead the team in all disciplines of Design from master planning, Architecture, Structure, MEP Services, Landscape, Interior, Lighting, Fa- ade and create a culture of Innovation.

- Coordinating between different teams for BOQ, Tendering, execution and Handover of the projects

- Co-ordinate closely with Purchase and procurement team for material identification and finalisation.

- To manage all regulatory matters of various courts and regulatory offices for Land & Revenue related matters across India including Property Tax matters.

- Possess hands on knowledge of modern, innovative building materials and system across globe and designs to build robust processes and drive excellence to set high benchmark in Design, Safety & Quality of the product. Public

- Have worked on BIM & Lean management to drive the project delivery.

- Ensuring high standards of safety in all projects right from Design Development stage.

- Team Building / Subordinate Development

- Contribution to various divisional initiatives such as; Business excellence, Kaizen, BBS, Innovation, etc.

Qualification: Bachelor in Architecture

Experience: 15 - 22 years of work experience
