Role Overview:

As the DCM (Debt Capital Markets) Lead, you will spearhead the firm's debt origination and execution strategy, serving as the primary architect for complex financing solutions. You will operate at the intersection of high-stakes client advisory and internal cross-functional collaboration, working closely with corporate treasurers, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors to structure bespoke debt instruments. Your leadership will be pivotal in navigating volatile market conditions to deliver optimal capital structures, directly influencing the firm's market share and revenue growth in the Indian debt landscape. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end origination and execution of debt transactions, including bonds, NCDs, and structured finance, to ensure seamless capital raising for high-growth corporate clients.

- Cultivate and manage deep-rooted relationships with institutional investors, banks, and regulatory bodies to ensure consistent deal pipeline and favorable market positioning.

- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive pitch books, credit memos, and financial models to provide clients with data-backed insights for informed decision-making.

- Mentor and manage a high-performing team of associates and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and technical precision in deal execution.

- Monitor macroeconomic trends and credit market shifts to provide strategic advisory to clients, ensuring their capital structures remain resilient and cost-efficient.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated mastery in structuring complex debt instruments and navigating the nuances of the Indian regulatory environment, including SEBI and RBI guidelines.

- Exceptional ability to articulate complex financial narratives to C-suite stakeholders, backed by a proven track record of successful deal closures and client retention.

- Strong analytical acumen with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable strategic advice for diverse corporate portfolios.

- Proven leadership experience in managing high-stakes teams, with a focus on collaborative problem-solving and professional development.

- A postgraduate degree in Finance or an MBA from a premier business school, complemented by 14 to 20 years of intensive experience in investment banking or debt capital markets.

- High degree of adaptability to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai, Delhi, or Ahmedabad, requiring frequent travel and high availability to meet client demands.
