Lead Data Scientist - Manufacturing & Analytics

Role Overview:

This role is part of the Group Data & Analytics team, driving high-impact AI, Data Science, and Analytics initiatives across key enterprise businesses.

You will partner closely with business and plant technology leaders to identify strategic opportunities, build scalable AI/ML solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes across growth, operational efficiency, and risk management.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

1. AI & Data Leadership:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML and predictive analytics solutions across manufacturing and business units.

- Drive innovation by leveraging emerging data science techniques and industry best practices.

- Build scalable, reusable AI assets and analytical frameworks that can be adopted enterprise-wide.

2. Business Problem Solving & Executive Stakeholder Management:

- Partner directly with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and translate complex business challenges into data-driven analytical solutions.

- Drive stakeholder alignment across cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

- Develop compelling business cases, analytical dashboards, and strategic presentations for executive review.

3. Business Value Realization & Impact:

- Deliver quantifiable business impact (revenue growth, cost reduction, operational efficiency) through AI and Analytics initiatives.

- Promote reusability, adoption, and governance of analytics solutions across multiple business divisions.

4. People & Capability Development:

- Manage, mentor, and upskill analytics talent within the team.

- Foster a strong data-driven decision-making culture and innovation mindset across the organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: 7 - 10 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles.

- Domain Focus: Direct experience working on manufacturing process, plant-based analytics, or industrial operational data science projects.

- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of managing cross-functional team members and interfacing directly with business leadership.

- Technical & Analytical Depth: Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end AI/ML model projects from concept to deployment.
