We are seeking a visionary Data Science Leader to lead data-driven strategy and innovation. This role will be pivotal in shaping credit risk models, customer insights, fraud detection, and product personalisation for the lending business. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to drive measurable impact across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing Data Science team.
- Collaborate with CXOs, Product, Risk, and Technology teams to embed data-driven decision-making.
- Design and implement advanced credit scoring, risk assessment, and fraud detection models.
- Leverage ML/AI techniques for customer segmentation, loan underwriting, and collections optimization
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years in Data Science/Analytics, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in financial services, lending, or FinTech
- Expertise in ML/AI frameworks (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop).
