Location: Office in Navi Mumbai, India

Travel: Short Term Travel to London, UK

We are looking for a Team Lead with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform and strong experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g. GCP, Azure). You will define architecture, lead design & implementation of cloud solutions for our enterprise clients, drive best practices, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, cost-efficient and aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Solution Design and Innovations: Work closely with Senior Solution Architects and CTOs to advise and select optimal technologies, keeping up with emerging tech/trends, pushing for best practices and innovation, and presenting the solutions to client Enterprise Architects to influence and secure agreement.

- Discovery Ownership: Capable of owning requirement analysis and feasibility study or conduct GAP analysis during Discovery Phase, with the ability to break down complex business requirements into workable technical solutions.

- Anchor the technical build: Walk the talk by delivering the technical solution recommended or showcased as part of Solution consulting by working with development and technology teams and guide and mentor the core development to support or mentor team on any of the Data Projects. You must be flexible to roll up the sleeves and get into technical details and showcase the right delivery path.

- Leadership: Team management, guide team and organization on new technology during onboarding, support Project Manager on effort estimation, cost and risk impact analysis, mentor or coach technical team members, and work on projects for CxO priorities.

- Communication: A good communicator (Technical presentation, Discovery Show & Tell, Status update to Key Stakeholders on Project progress), communicates well with both technical teams (developers, engineers) and non-technical stakeholders (business, finance), and aligns solutions with business goals.

- Delivery Ownership: Demonstrate can-do attitude to ensure delivery working with Senior leads to Delivery or Project Manager and take the end-to-end development and delivery responsibilities.

- Quality Accountability: Ensures architectures are robust, maintainable, secure, puts in place best practices for data security, compliance, and ensures quality control and testing.

- Cloud & Data Engineering Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership in:

1. Distributed data processing

2. Real-time and batch data pipelines

3. Data modelling and optimization

4. Security and regulatory standards

Requirements:

- Expertise in Snowflake and other cloud data warehouses including Azure SQL DW and Google BigQuery, with strong implementation knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture across GCP and Azure.

- Experience of the Integration and Ingestion frameworks using Python, Airflow, Azure data pipelines or other Integration tools.

- Experience of working on Cloud Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Migration, Digital Transformation, having worked in 2-3 large projects revolving around Cloud services.

- Data related knowledge for Unstructured, Semi-structured, and Structured data, with various Data ingestion development experience (Stream, API based, File Based, Trigger or Micro service based).

- Principles of data structure and modelling, capable of adding value during the process of data unification and modelling.

- Hands on experience of Architecture on Data Engineering stack, typically on DevOps (Git, Docker, Security stack implementation) and aware of DataOps principle with Agile form of SDLC.

- Snowflake experience will be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to lead architectural decisions, drive best practices, and mentor others.

- Experience in consulting, primarily with UK & US clients.

Nice to Have:

- Certifications: Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, etc.

- Experience with hybrid or on-prem plus cloud environments.

- Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to your market (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

- Prior experience in enterprise consulting or professional services.

- Experience in scaling global cloud teams or working with globally distributed systems.
