1. Credit Assessment & Approval
- Conduct end-to-end credit appraisal for supply chain finance programs covering :
- Anchor (Buyer) evaluation
- Dealer/Distributor/Vendor credit assessment
Analyze :
- Financial statements, cash flows, banking conduct, and debt profiles
- Business model, industry risks, and supply chain dependencies
Recommend :
- Credit limits, tenor, pricing inputs, and security structures
- Program eligibility and onboarding criteria
- Prepare and present Credit Notes, CAMs, and Approval Memos to appropriate sanctioning authorities.
2. Program Structuring & Risk Mitigation
- Structure SCF programs aligned to anchor strength and trade flows
Identify and mitigate risks through :
- Transaction-backed structures
- Comfort letters / Undertakings
- Escrow and payment mechanisms
- Evaluate counterparty concentration risk, tenor risk, and dilution risk.
3. Portfolio Monitoring & Reviews :
Monitor portfolio health through :
- Periodic review of limits and exposure
- Early warning signals (EWS)
- Overdue and delinquency tracking
- Conduct annual/periodic credit reviews as per policy.
- Work proactively with Business and Collections teams to address stress and corrective actions.
4. Policy & Regulatory Compliance :
- Ensure compliance with:
- Internal Credit Policy
- RBI guidelines applicable to SCF / TReDS / exposures
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Contribute to policy refinements and risk framework enhancements for supply chain finance.
5. Stakeholder Management :
Partner closely with :
- Business / Relationship Managers
- Operations and Product teams
- Legal, Compliance, and Risk colleagues
- Provide credit guidance and structuring support to enable scalable and safe growth.
